Jeff O’Brien

Co-Founder

Jeff O'Brien brings a unique blend of horticultural expertise, business leadership, and consumer research to the garden center industry.

An MBA graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University and recipient of the BCLNA Educator of the Year Award, Jeff has spent his career helping garden centers grow through stronger leadership, marketing, customer experience, and strategic planning.

Prior to co-founding Brands in Blooms, Jeff served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Van Belle Nursery, where he helped lead a period of significant growth. His graduate research focused on consumer behavior in garden centers, providing valuable insights into how independent retailers can better attract and retain the next generation of customers.

Today, Jeff works with garden centers across North America as a consultant, educator, speaker, and business coach, helping owners and leadership teams build stronger businesses, better customer experiences, and more engaged teams.

Jon Morrison

Co-Founder

Jon brings a depth of knowledge in branding, marketing and software to the team. With an MBA from Trinity Western University, Jon has not only honed his business acumen but also developed a keen insight into the dynamics of market trends and consumer behavior.

Jon is a Certified StoryBrand Guide, where he excels in crafting compelling narratives that resonate deeply with audiences.
